Lively Dance Draws Crowds at Burnsville's International Festival

One Chinese dance featured youth who were 4 to 11 years old.

The International Festival of Burnsville delivered on its promise of food, crafts and entertainment. The exhibits and activities also gave attendees the opportunity to learn about other cultures.

Information posters about a number of countries throughout the world were taped to windows inside of the Performing Arts Center. The posters included a map of the country and several facts.

Inside the center groups set up tables to talk with people about their culture or to provide information about the city.

The festival, located at Nicollet Commons Park by the Performing Arts Center, also featured several dance performances that drew crowds, such as the Chinese and Central American dances. The day ended with a Hawaiian luau.
