Burnsville Company Sells Large Inflatable Colons

Landmark Creations International has sold almost 100 inflatable colons over a period of eight years, the Minneapolis-St.Paul Business Journal reported.


The Burnsville company entered into the business after a photo of an 80-foot inflatable colon that it made in 2005 drew the attention from others who wanted the company to make them one.

Uses of the colons include to education about heath wellness or to display a particular disease. 

“The biggest challenge is making sure it represents the services or product [the customer] offers,” Tom Meacham, president of the company, told the Journal.

Landmark Creations International makes a variety of inflatable products, a small portion of which includes making inflatable colons. The cost for an inflatable colon is about $6,000 each.
