Burnsville Preschool Lab Nursery Begins in October

The classes are at Burnsville High School and start the first week in October.

The Preschool Lab nursery school at Burnsville High School has openings for children ages 3 to 5 years old.

A head teacher of the lab class leads the high school students. To prepare for their teaching experience, the students have completed 18 weeks of instruction in child development and five weeks of nursery school training, according to a District 191 news release. 

Preschool students will have goal-oriented, small group, personalized learning in art, music, math, science and pre-reading presented through activities, games and learning centers.

The fall session begins the first week in October while the spring session begins the first week in March. Classes follow the school calendar and occurs Monday through Friday from 8:25 a.m. to 9:55 a.m.

Tuition is $65 per session plus donations for snacks and beverages used in class.
