Give Blood at US Federal Credit Union Bi-Annual Drive

The credit union hopes to collect enough blood at the Burnsville drive to help even more people this time around.

Participate in a good cause next Friday by giving blood at the U.S. Federal Credit Union’s (USFCU) bi-annual blood drive in Burnsville.

In the blood drive that USFCU hosted with Memorial Blood Centers (MBC) in January of this year, people donated a total of 19 units of whole blood and two units of double red blood cells. The donations had the potential to help 59 people, according to a USFCU news release.

“Our semi-annual blood drive with MBC is a great way for our employees to join with the community for a great cause,” said President/CEO of USFCU Bill Raker in the release. “We hope to increase the amount of donations this time around so we can make a bigger difference.”
