Bridge Damage Closes I-35W Ramp at Highway 13 in Burnsville
MnDOT advises motorists to find alternate routes while the closures are in place.
The Interstate 35W ramp to northbound Highway 13 was closed Monday afternoon due to damage to the bridge, the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced today.
The right lane of northbound Highway 13 on the bridge at I-35W is also closed. According to MnDOT the damage was discovered over the weekend as crews painted the bridge as part of routine maintenance.
Inspectors will assess the damage and determine repairs. The ramp and lane will reopen when the repair work is finished.
