Rosemount resident Morries Pietz, 78, of Rosemount, died in his sleep on Sept. 1, 2012. Pietz is preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold and Magdeline Pietz; two brothers, Milbert and Mervin Pietz; and one sister, Viola Scheid. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mavis; daughters, Robin (Tom) Vorwerk, Brenda (Bill) Berner and Sandra (Joe Klatt) Pietz; granddaughter, Jenna Klatt; brothers, Leroy and Gale Pietz; sister, Shirley (Dean) Tipton; sister-in-law, Sharon Pietz also by other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Pietz will be held 11 AM Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Burnsville, where Pietz was very active.
