POLICE: Man Posed as Burnsville Walmart Employee, Stole Over 50 Electronic Gadgets

Aaron Alexander Holmes, of Brooklyn Center, is accused of pawning over $20,000 worth of stolen electronics.

A Brooklyn Center man is accused of purloining a large number of iPads and other electronics from a Burnsville Walmart—first as an actual employee, then as an impostor. Nevertheless, on April 28 he allegedly donned the standard Walmart uniform—a blue shirt and khaki pants, complete with name tag—and headed to the store. Holmes quickly made off with three Apple iPads, collectively valued at $1,697. The next day, Holmes appeared at the store again and took three more iPads while an accomplice distracted the staff. …

Burnsville Entrepreneur Turns 'Cooties' Into Cash

For the right price, Paula Salas will remove all the lice and their eggs from your child's head—by hand, strand by strand.

It's a lousy job, but somebody has to do it. Meet Paula Salas, a professional nitpicker. Salas is the owner of Kooty Katchers, a lice removal company. After months of in-home appointments, she opened a bricks-and-mortar location in November. Her office is tucked into a discreet office park on Southcross Drive West, at the end of a long stairway. Once inside, Kooty Katchers looks much like a hair salon, with bright paintings on the walls, an abundance of People Magazine and what seems to be a typical stylist's chair. Then Salas gets down to business. She straps on a headlamp and turns on two high powered lights. Her weapon?: The Terminator, a heavy duty stainless steel comb specially designed to smoke out her foe—the creepy, crawly, ever-…
