John R. Schommer, of Burnsville, passed away Sept. 25, 2012 at the age of 52. Schommer is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary; sister, Ann; and father-in-law, Robert “Butz” Palmer. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim; beloved son, Luke; sister, Rose Balacek; mother-in-law, Janet Palmer; and sister-in-law, Debra (Jeff) Miller; also by other loving relatives and many friends. A mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at White Funeral Home in Burnsville and one hour prior to the Mass at church. Source: White Funeral Home
