Erma Lillian Bipes, of Burnsville, passed away Nov. 28, 2012 at the age of 97. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, five sisters, and two brothers. Bipes is survived by children, Robert (Karalee), Carol Oeltjenbruns, and Kenneth (Marilyn); eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville. Mourners are invtied to a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service at church. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. at the Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson, Minn.

Roderick “Rick” Peterson, Jr. died on Oct. 12, 2012.
Roderick “Rick” Peterson, Jr. of Burnsville passed away on Oct. 12, 2012 at the age of 68. Peterson was a veteran employee of 3M, working at the company for 35 years. He is preceded in death by father Roderick Sr., and mothers Margaret and Florence. Peterson is survived by loving wife Joanne; children Michael (Susan), Jeffrey (Ulrika) and Brian Peterson; grandchildren Laura, Nickolas, Katie, Alexander, Lukas and Julia; siblings Calvin (Judy) and William (Nancy) Peterson. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville. Barbara Lee Ferrera, nee Falls, died on Sept. 26, 2012.
Barbara Lee Ferrera (nee Falls) passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at the age of 75. Ferrera was a Minneapolis native. She graduated from Washburn High in 1955. She and her husband Richard raised their family in Burnsville. In her leisure time, Ferrera enjoyed sitting on Hawaiian beaches and watching the sun set, reading, playing tennis, golf, walking and physical fitness, but most of all spending time with family. She is described as a beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. Ferrera is preceded in death by parents, Marie and Vernon Falls, and sister Muriel Best. Princeton resident Mark H. Blaska, age 34, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 23, 2012. Blaska was a 1996 graduate of Burnsville High School and a graduate of Dunwoody Institute. He is described as a "loving, devoted father, avid hunter and fisherman." He also had a passion for hockey. He is survived by his children Molli, Kevin and Kyle; mother, Karen (Jerry) Morrow and father, Gaylon Blaska; sisters Jill (W.J.)
