Savage Man Charged with Cutting, Threatening Lakeville Man

Police say Peter Gustavo Gesualdo cut the man with a butterfly knife, then threatened to slash another man's throat.

A Savage man has been charged with cutting a man in Lakeville with a 4-inch knife after threatening to “cut him wide open,” then threatening to slash another man’s throat. Peter Gustavo Gesualdo, 43, is charged with three felonies: second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, which carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison and a $14,000 fine, and two counts of making terroristic threats, each of which has a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Lakeville police were called to a home on Impatiens Court just after 10 p.m. Jan. 5 to investigate a reported assault, according to the criminal assault.
