Passengers in Tuesday's Fatal Crash Identified
Authorities say 16-year-old Jonathan Thomas and Rey Chacon, 17, were fellow passengers in a car that rolled down an embankment onto Interstate 35 on Tuesday, killing two.

The crash killed Frederick Jeffery Alexander, 16, of Burnsville, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the 2:30 p.m crash. Alesha Katherine Roehl, 17, of Burnsville died a few hours later at Hennepin County Medical Center. Two Lakeville South students—Jonathan L. Thomas, 16, of Lakeville and Rey Chacon, 17, of Burnsville—sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash on Interstate 35, according to a State Patrol media release updated Friday morning. …

A tragic,horrible accident...and our son was a passenger in that car.....we are thanking God every minute over and over again that he is still with us,snd jts only becsuse he had his seatbelt on!! Our hearts and prayers are with the familjes of Frederick and Alesha and we are so so sorry for their loss. Beautiful children who will be missed greatly!!
