This weekend bedlam will break out at Buck Hill, which is simultaneously hosting both Winchfest and the 15th Annual Subway Bedrace for Bridging.
Winchfest at Buck Hill So, what is Winchfest, you may ask? In short, it's exactly what you might expect. In the organizers' own words: "You add the winch to snowboarding, and it allows midwest riders who lack the terrain and snow of their western counterparts to travel at high speeds on a flat landscape. Put terrain park features in front of it all, and it makes for a great competition-style snowboard event." Spectators will be allowed in free. The fest will also feature live music, beer, and food.
