Burnsville Olympian Lindsey Vonn Released from Hospital—No Word Yet on Diagnosis

The Buck Hill alumna and famed ski racer was released from a Vail, CO hospital, where she was admitted on Monday after complaining of "pain all over her body" and aching bones.

One of Burnsville's most famous former residents, world-renowned skier Lindsey Vonn, has been released from a Colorado hospital after being tested for "severe intestinal pain." Vonn was admitted to the hospital in Vail on Monday, NBC reports. Vonn told doctor she was had been suffering from a mysterious pain for two weeks that pervaded her body and left an aching sensation in her bones. As yet, the details of her illness remain unclear, though Vonn's publicist Lewis Kay told NBC that Vonn is "feeling much better today." "She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors are still working to determine what specifically was the cause of her illness but thankfully she has responded well to their treatment," Kay said in an e-mail. "We do not know …
