Warrant Issued for Burnsville Woman Accused of Cracking Victim's Skull
Police say Lenora Jonea Pollard assaulted a woman Dec. 17 because she believed that someone was trying to take her children.
A nationwide arrest warrant has been issued for a Burnsville woman charged with stabbing and assaulting a woman, cracking the victim’s skull. Lenora Jonea Pollard, 36, is charged with two felonies: second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine, and third-degree assault resulting in substantial bodily harm, which has a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Pollard also faces a gross misdemeanor charge of child endangerment and two misdemeanor charges of domestic assault.
