A half billion dollars could be yours in the latest Powerball drawing. In fact, so many people were trying to access the Florida lottery website that the server was slow to respond and appeared down at times shortly after the 11 p.m. drawing. The Minnesota site had no such issue, as seen here. The $580 million winning Powerball numbers have been selected and people in the Twin Cities metro from St. Michael to Hudson are checking their tickets. Last August, a Lakeville gas station sold a winning Powerball $229 million lottery ticket to a Burnsville man.

Tom and Kathleen Morris win the largest Powerball jackpot in Minnesota history—a cool $229 million.
