Bernard and Pat Bertram would give even Clark Griswold a run for his money with their eye-catching display of Christmas cheer.
Bernard Betram has earned some serious bragging rights this holiday season: The city council audibly gasped when shown a photo of his home, 15113 Stevens Avenue, which is decked out in a veritable explosion of light and color for the Christmas season. The Bertrams took first place in the Burnsville Convention and Visitors Bureau's holiday lighting contest. Their home and their story was also featured in a recent edition of the Star Tribune. Second place went to Glen and Melissa Stoffel of 13408 Knob Hill Road. Third went to Michael and Shirley Esch on 1120 Aspen Drive. The contest was a joint venture between the CVB and the Dakota Electric Association.
