Frederick Alexander, 16, died on Aug. 21, 2012 at the scene of a rollover accident on Interstate 35W.
Frederick Jeffery Alexander, 16, of Burnsville, passed away Aug. 21, 2012, as a result of a car crash. He is survived by his loving parents, Cheryl and Terence McClenney; siblings, Selena Ely and Gabrielle McClenney; grandparents, Freddie Jeff, Elezabeth McClenney, and Gloria Honore; nephew, Daylon Daniels; niece, Haiden Jackson; special brother, Georgio Wright; special friends, Rey, Alfredo, and J.T. A memorial service is set for 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 at White Funeral Home in Burnsville, with gathering of family and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. To read a full account of the crash, click here. Authorities say 16-year-old Jonathan Thomas and Rey Chacon, 17, were fellow passengers in a car that rolled down an embankment onto Interstate 35 on Tuesday, killing two.

The crash killed Frederick Jeffery Alexander, 16, of Burnsville, who was pronounced dead at the scene of the 2:30 p.m crash. Alesha Katherine Roehl, 17, of Burnsville died a few hours later at Hennepin County Medical Center. Two Lakeville South students—Jonathan L. Thomas, 16, of Lakeville and Rey Chacon, 17, of Burnsville—sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash on Interstate 35, according to a State Patrol media release updated Friday morning. …

A makeshift memorial marks the place where the car in which Alexander, 16, and Roehl, 17, were riding in careened off Buckhill Road toward its landing spot on Interstate 35 just north of the Burnsville-Lakeville border Tuesday afternoon. Alexander and Roehl, who weren’t wearing seatbelts, were thrown from the car. Alexander, of Burnsville, died at the scene of the 2:30 p.m. crash. A tragic,horrible accident...and our son was a passenger in that car.....we are thanking God every minute over and over again that he is still with us,snd jts only becsuse he had his seatbelt on!! Our hearts and prayers are with the familjes of Frederick and Alesha and we are so so sorry for their loss. Beautiful children who will be missed greatly!!
