What's Closed on Monday, Sept. 5: Burnsville City Hall Northern Dakota County Service Center and all Dakota County libraries, including Burnhaven Library. The United States Postal Service is closed in observation of Labor Day so there is no mail delivery. Wells Fargo Bank, 100 West Burnsville Parkway, is closed on Labor Day. The U.S. Federal Credit Union at 1400 Riverwood Drive will also be closed. The academic calendar for the 2012-13 school year has been finalized by the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 Board of Education. The first day of school for most students will be Tuesday, Sept. 4, but there are exceptions. Juniors and seniors at Burnsville High School will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 5, as will 8th and 9th graders at Nicollet Junior High.
