Police: Burnsville Man Assaulted 90-year-old Woman, Dog

Gregory Alan Wucherpfennig, 47, allegedly assaulted his mother and her dog in an effort to coerce her into signing her home over to him.

A Burnsville man has been arrested for allegedly using physical violence against both his mother and her dog. Police say Gregory Alan Wucherpfennig, 47, was motivated by financial gain. On the afternoon of April 11, the Burnsville Police Department was called to an address on Oakland Drive to check on the welfare of an elderly woman. Dispatch recieved a text message from another resident in the house, who said that a suspect, later identified as Wucherpfennig, was pushing his 90-year-old mother around and threatening to kill her. Once on scene, officers spoke with the woman, who said Wucherpfennig was angry because she wouldn't sign her house over to him. Burnsville Man Faces Felony Charges for Brawl, Smashing Woman's Head Against a Wall

Skylar Edmond Labarge, 19, allegedly beat a woman's head against a wall, then punched another man who tried to intervene.

A Burnsville man faces multiple felony charges after he allegedly smashed a woman's head against a wall. Skylar Edmond Labarge, 19, is charged with two counts of felony domestic assault, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine, and assault in the fifth degree, also a felony. He faces a fourth charge for interfering with an emergency call, a gross misdemeanor.  On Feb. 11, the Burnsville Police Department was called to an apartment building on the 1000 block of Burnsville Parkway on report of a domestic assault. According to the criminal complaint, the suspect had already disappeared by the time officers arrived. Police on scene encountered the victim, who was bleeding from the head as she explained what …

Man Charged with Allegedly Strangling Father in Argument Over Car Keys

Police say the victim's ex-wife came home while Mohamed Abdirizak Ahmed was choking his father, and that she chased Ahmed away.

A Minneapolis man has been charged with allegedly strangling his father in Burnsville after the two argued over car keys. Mohamed Abdirizak Ahmed, 25, is charged with domestic assault by strangulation, a felony with a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $5,000 fine. According to the criminal complaint, Burnsville police were called to a home on 117th Street East just after 4 a.m. Aug. 17 on a report of a fight. Officers found the victim, who said he had been staying at his ex-wife’s home for several nights, and that his son, Ahmed, had awakened him by pounding on the bedroom door and demanding car keys. Police Arrest Burnsville Man for Strangling Woman, Stealing Her Car

Donald Ray Gillman, who had been sought since February, is accused of strangling a Burnsville woman last December, then stealing her car.

A Burnsville man being sought by authorities for strangling a woman last December and stealing her car and her cell phone has been arrested. Donald Ray Gillman, 23, was arrested July 12 on a warrant issued in February. He is charged with two felonies: car theft, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine, and domestic assault by strangulation, for which the maximum penalty is three years in prison and a $5,000 fine.  Gillman is also charged with misdemeanor theft in the Dec. 19, 2011, incident. Gillman remains in the Dakota County Jail on a $10,000 bond. An omnibus hearing in his case is scheduled July 31 in Dakota County District Court in Hastings. Police say Dustin Adams Roose grabbed his victim by the throat, pinned her against the wall and then head-butted her.

A Burnsville man has been charged with strangling and head-butting a woman while she held a 3-month-old child on a staircase. Dustin Adams Roose, 24, is charged with domestic assault by strangulation, a felony with a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $5,000 fine. He also faces two misdemeanor charges of domestic assault, each of which has a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.  Roose remains in the Dakota County Jail on a $60,000 bond. An omnibus hearing in his case is scheduled July 10 in Dakota County District Court in Hastings. Burnsville Man Charged with Felony for Alleged Death Threats

Police say Pharrel Leeman Hall, who has a number of domestic assault convictions on his record, threatened to kill a Burnsville woman late last month.

A Burnsville man with a history of domestic assault violations has been charged with threatening to beat a woman to death late last month. Pharrel Leeman Hall, 36, is charged with felony domestic assault, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Hall remains in the Dakota County Jail on a $30,000 bond. An omnibus hearing in his case is scheduled June 26 in Dakota County District Court in Hastings. According to the criminal complaint, a neighbor of Hall’s called police on May 30 to report an ongoing domestic squabble. The neighbor told police that the argument had been going on all day, and at one point a woman said, “Do I have to leave before I get beat up again?” When police arrived at the apartment, in …

Police Arrest Man Sought in Domestic Assault

Police recently arrested Siro Lee Amerson, charged with third-degree assault for allegedly knocking a tooth out a woman's mouth.

A St. Paul man was arrested this week on a warrant charging him with assaulting two women in Burnsville in August 2010, leaving one with a missing tooth and requiring six stitches in her face. Siro Lee Amerson, 35, is charged with third-degree assault, domestic assault and violation of a domestic abuse no-contact order, each a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.  Amerson remains in the Dakota County Jail on a $50,000 bond. A settlement conference in his case is scheduled May 9 in Dakota County District Court in Hastings. According to the complaint, Burnsville police responded to a 911 call on Aug. 9, 2010, in which someone said “something had happened” and there was “a lot of blood,” then hung up. …
