Bud is a handsome, one year old, yellow lab who loves everyone he meets. He is the perfect size, only 45 pounds, and will make an amazing family dog. He is with a 5013c rescue and has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and has a HomeAgaing microchip. He is wonderful with other dogs and has lived peacefully with cats. Kayla likes to get out and play in the fenced backyard and also enjoys being held and giving kisses.
Kayla is a lovely pup who is approximately 9 months old and weighs 28 pounds. She is a very petite chocolate lab mix with the cutest pointy ears. Kayla likes to get out and play in the fenced backyard and also enjoys being held and giving kisses. She's been great with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the cats. Kayla has enjoyed the company of the school-aged kids in her foster home. She is crate trained and doing well on housetraining when let out on a schedule. She loves to go for walks and chew on her toys. Kayla is being fostered for a 501c3 rescue group and would love to find a home of her own. Saturday, Minnesota Valley royals hosted a carwash benefit in Shakopee for a labrador retriever and her seven pups, who narrowly escaped euthanasia last month.
This weekend, the Miss MN Valley princesses and queens traded their finery for some more practical duds. The girls staged a benefit carwash to help a female lab and her seven pups, that were close to being euthanized last month at a San Antonio, TX shelter. The girls also lobbied for the pups via long-distance phone calls and e-mails to city officials and San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro to save the dogs. The dogs have been placed in a foster home temporarily, but they are still seeking "forever families," and money is needed to pay for veterinary bills and food costs. It's not too late to help.
