Deadlines Extended for Countywide Photography Contest
Local photographers, age 8 and older, may submit up to two photographs reflecting the theme "Human Faces of Dakota County" for the chance to have their pictures hung in a gallery.
Editor's Note: The following is a news release from Dakota County. Photographers looking to display their work can submit their original photos to be considered for a new exhibit planned for March 2013. Photographers, age 8 and older, must live in Dakota County and may submit up to two photographs reflecting the theme "Human Faces of Dakota County". The submission deadline has been extended and submissions are now due by Monday, Jan. 28, 2013. The photography exhibit is one of the ways the Dakota County Public Art Citizen Advisory Committee, in partnership with the Dakota County Historical Society, is working to make local art more accessible to residents.
