This morning northbound lanes of I-35 backed up past Burnsville Parkway due to an accident at a trouble spot near the Cliff Road ramp.
This morning's commute came to a grinding halt after a rollover in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 West at Cliff Road, which left traffic backed up for over a mile. The crash occurred shortly around 9:16 on Monday morning. Lt. Eric Roeske of the Minnesota State Patrol reported that the crash involved two vehicles, one of which rolled after contact from the other car. It took about an hour to clear the road. There were no injuries. However, there have been two serious accidents in the same spot over the last four months. See previous coverage:

The exit from Interstate 35 West to Burnsville's Cliff Road will be a no-go this Saturday.
It turns out that Interstate 35 will not be immune to some of the construction mayhem currently afflicting Highway 77. This Saturday, the exit onto Burnsville's Cliff Road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as crews put down fresh asphalt. Plan accordingly.
