Honda Dealership Relaunches Long-awaited Redevelopment Project
Walser Honda will soon begin a major overhaul of its Burnsville property, which has been on hold since the Bush era.
Walser Honda is finally putting the pedal to the metal: The car dealership will soon embark on a redevelopment project that has been in the works since 2008. "We're very excited to bring this before you. We've seen previous iterations of this project and we're excited that Walser is back," said City Planner Chris Slania. Slania added that this was perhaps a sign that the economy is recovering, slowly but steadily. Walser's property at 14800 Buck Hill Road will soon undergo a transformation. The building there that currently serves Walser's new car lot will be torn down to make way for a larger, sleeker one that will include a showroom, an auto repair shop, parts center, car wash and offices.
