Alice B. Crissman Alice B. Crissman quietly passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 after a long and eventful life of 96 years. Longevity runs in the family. Her father passed at 100, mother at 97, brother, Olin at 90 and older sister, Louise, at 96. Crissman was born on June 30, 1916 in Ionia, MI. She attended Michigan State University. Before she retired, she worked as a waitress on great lakes cruise ships as a young woman, a florist in Libertyville, IL, and a retail sales person for custom draperies in Alliance, OH.
