The mall announced Tuesday that P.S. from Aeropostale and Body Central will be the mall's newest tenants.
summer Burnsville Center will be home to two new clothing stores: P.S. from Aeropostale and Body Central. P.S. from Aeropostale is the children's brand extension of Aeropostale, catering to kids aged 4 to 14. The store will open this spring in a 3,918-square-foot space near J.C. Penney, Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal is reporting. This summer, as previously reported in Burnsville Patch, Body Central, a women's clothing, footwear, jewelry and accessories boutique, will open in a 4,541-square-foot space in the mall's upper level near Sears.

The Floridian fast fashion chain is currently hiring for its new store at the Burnsville mall, one of 25 new locations the company has planned for 2013.
Burnsville Center will soon be home to Minnesota's first Body Central, a fast fashion chain that is undergoing rapid expansion. Body Central, or Body Shop as it is known in some parts, was established in Jacksonville, FL in 1973. Body Central focuses on women in their teens and twenties. The chain's price range and offerings are similar to Forever 21, H & M or Charlotte Russe. Body Central's growth kicked into high gear after October 2006, when the Rosenbaums, the company's founding family, sold a controlling interest in Body Central to a group of outside investors associated with WestView Capital Partners, L.P. The company made an initial public offfering in October 2010, and is now listed on The Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol …

Fidel Mario Frometa Cabrales, convicted in October of credit-card fraud elsewhere in Minnesota, was arrested a month later at Burnsville Center after police say he tried to use a fraudulent card to buy expensive jewelry.
A Minneapolis man convicted in October of credit-card fraud in Wright County has been charged with using a stolen credit card to try to buy expensive jewelry at two Burnsville jewelry stores a month later. Fidel Mario Frometa Cabrales, 45, is charged with felony credit-card fraud, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. The charge has a mandatory minimum penalty of a $6,000 fine. Burnsville police were called to a Burnsville Center jewelry store just after 6:30 p.m. Nov. 21 after an employee reported a fraud in progress, according to the criminal complaint. Officers were given a physical description of the suspects and were told that mall security was trying to keep them in sight until police arrived. …

A Burnsville man has been charged with soliciting a 12-year-old girl for sex online and arranging to meet her last week at Burnsville Center. Dale Christopher Steffen, 42, is charged with two felonies: second-degree criminal sexual conduct, which carries a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison and a $35,000 fine, and solicitation of a minor to engage in sexual conduct, which has a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Steffen, who was arrested July 27 and made his first appearance on the charges Monday, remains in the Dakota County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
