Diesel is, a 12-week-old lab puppy, is in search of a home.
Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues. Diesel is a darling, 12-week-old, yellow lab mix. He will likely top out around 40 to 45 pounds full grown. He has had his first puppy shots, been dewormed, frontlined, and has a HomeAgain microchip. Diesel is being fostered in Lakeville for a Happy Hound Rescue and is doing very well in his foster home. He will need someone home much of the time to continue his training. He is crate trained and working on housetraining. Please email happyhoundrescue@aol.com for more information on the adoption process. Thanks for considering a rescue dog.

Mira is a good-natured one-year-old lab who was found wandering along a country road, alone and pregnant.
Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues. Mira is a lovely one year old lab mix who was found along a country road alone and pregnant. A good samaritan picked her up and took her home where she had two big puppies. They have been adopted already and mom is now ready for her forever home. Mira is 55 pounds and a happy, playful dog who adores everyone she meets and has a great temperament. She is house trained, crate trained, and loves to play with toys. Mira likes other dogs and would to have another playful dog in her new home and an active family. She walks pretty well on the leash and enjoys going for long walks and playing in the fenced…

She has a totally adorable playful personality, and is still very much a kitten who loves to play, and sleeps cuddled up with the daughter of her foster family every night. Amber is great with cats, dogs and kids, and is friendly and well socialized. Yet, she always gets overlooked at adoption events, even though she is adorable and sweet. Amber showed up on the front porch of a volunteer's home back in March. She spent the day hanging out with the neighborhood kids and following them around since she had no where to go, and was very social and friendly with everybody. Her foster …
