Cedar Avenue will be closed between 153rd Street and 147th Street from 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, until 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. County Road 42 between Pennock Avenue and Garrett Avenue also will be closed.
The city intends to switch from a complaints-only system of code enforcement to inspections from the street every three years of every building in town.
The filing period is open until 5 p.m. June 5 for select municipal and county races, including Burnsville City Council and Dakota County Commission.
The Burnsville City Council will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
