A Brooklyn Center man accused of repeatedly forcing a young Burnsville girl to perform oral sex was arrested Sunday in Hastings. Shawn LaJuan Primus, 38, is charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, each of which carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and a $40,000 fine. A nationwide arrest warrant was issued for him on May 11. According to the criminal complaint, Burnsville police were called a home on May 9 on a report of criminal sexual conduct involving a young girl. The child, who turned 10 in March, told authorities that Primus frequently woke her up in the middle of the night, performed oral sex on her and forced her to perform oral sex on him. Two people were on the moped when it crashed into a fence on May 8.
A Burnsville man who died May 8 after the moped he was riding on struck a fence in Savage was not alone on the vehicle, police now say. "I can confirm that (there) were two persons on the moped at the time of the crash," Savage Police Capt. Dave Muelken told Patch. He declined to release any details about the person's identity, however. "Further details are not being released until the investigation has been concluded," he said. Savage police and the Minnesota State Patrol are reconstructing the crash as part of the investigation, which could take four to six weeks. Police say Juan Carlos Dorsonville stole a car out of a woman's garage and threatened to kill her if she had anything to do with other men.
A Burnsville man has been charged with stealing a car and threatening to kill a woman if she took up with another man. Juan Carlos Dorsonville, 43, is charged with two felonies in the May 14 incident: making terroristic threats and car theft, each of which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Dorsonville remains in the Dakota County Jail on a $20,000 bond. An omnibus hearing in his case is scheduled June 12 in Dakota County District Court in Hastings. According to the criminal complaint, Burnsville police were called to a home just after 2:30 p.m. May 14 on a report of a possible burglary. A Burnsville man has been charged with punching a Burnsville woman repeatedly and threatening to “put her in the emergency room” when she refused to have sex with him. Chandralall Thakur, 29, is charged with two felonies: third-degree assault and making terroristic threats, each of which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. According to the criminal complaint, Burnsville police were called to a home just after 11:30 a.m. May 5 on a report of a woman who had been assaulted. A fire has ravaged a home in Savage, leaving a family of 11 physically unharmed but homeless. The fire broke out around 4:15 p.m. on Monday, raging through a house near the 4800 block of West 140th Street and Ottawa Avenue. The fire sent a giant plume of black smoke into the sky, visible from over a mile away. The fire seems to have started in the garage, but quickly spread to the rest of the structure. Next door neighbor Arnie Carlson first noticed the smoke. He looked out the window and saw the family's minivan completely engulfed and the garage on fire. "It just spread so fast," Carlson said.
