I love The Buzz! From the friendly conversation to the yummy cinnamon rolls (Just like the ones Gramma used to make) to the eye opening Buzz of my morning Americano. Thanks Liz for doing such a great job!

I absolutely love The Buzz. I go there all the time, adore Liz (the owner) and her employees, and always have a good time there. My husband doesn't like that their food does take longer, but they make it from scratch and with the warm hospitality, I'm happy to wait for it.

Liz does a great job creating a welcoming atmosphere and making her shop feel homey. Liz also supports the community and its citizens through their artwork or employing them for various projects. I am extremely grateful for Liz's generousity and am so proud of her for creating a wonderful business. Liz is young and independent, and that in itself is a business challenge these days.

I am pretty much on a first-name basis with all the employees and Liz, and I know for sure other coffee shops don't know me from Adam. You just can't get that kind of caring and hospitality much anymore so The Buzz rocks the competition in my book. :oD

I have been a regular customer (2-3 days a week) since I moved into Burnsville a year ago. I absolutely love this place and the people, and must note that I never was a loyal customer of any coffee shop & cafe before The Buzz. I have tried a wide array of their menu options - and have even brought in people multiple times because I wanted them to meet the owner (and get drinks of course)! The Buzz tries to incorporate eco-friendly practices such as water conservation and encouraging people to bring in their plastic bottles to recycle (among others). They display art from local artists and support charitable organizations. That aside, I’ve been VERY pleased with their service, selection, and the taste of the items on their menu. Some of my favorites – the “Anytime Egg Sandwich” with bacon, cheddar, spinach and tomato, a “Strawberry Fields” waffle with Nutella, and a caramel praline “coffee smoothie”. I recommend them to others ALL the time.

I'm surprised to see people giving this place a positive review. I live a mile away and have pretty low to medium standards. We ordered a sandwich and pizza. Our food took over 45 minutes, something we weren't told to expect. We got an apology when it finally came out, but that's WAY too long for pizza and a sandwich during a time when the counter rarely had more than 1 person at a time and didn't have more than 4-5 customers after we placed our order. The sandwich was something we could have easily made at home and the pizza was okay but wasn't great. We went over a year after they opened so it wasn't like it was an issue with them having just opened. I really want to support them as a local business but they don't hold a candle to the Savage Depot for a sandwich/wrap/coffee place, and the Savage Depot isn't anything to write home about. We haven't returned since that first visit.

Dan & Michael, agreed. Buzz is a fantastic place to get a cup a joe, dig into a waffle or catch live music on open mic nights!

The waffles are almost as good and friendly as the hospitality. Great java joint.

The BEST waffles south of the river, or maybe anywhere around the river.
