It is obvious that the landlord is not their customer! They nickle and dime both the tenant and the landlord while providing little service to either. Their goal is to make their profit through their maintenance department verses their management services. Tenants be ware, you will not get all of your security deposit back. They take pictures of everything prior to move in and will charge you hundreds of dollars for things they can correct in under 2 hours of work. Landlords be ware, you will not get your property back in the same condition that you intrusted it to them. They claim everything to be "normal wear and tear" unless they can't correct it in 2 hours. Again they make their profit by charging the tenant hundreds of dollars for things they can correct in 2 hours. Landlords, ask questions! Did you know that Real-Time Leasing gets the late payment if the tenant pays late? Their claim is that they earned the fee because it created them additional work. You get nothing other than a late payment and yes they still get their management percentage on top of the late fee. Future landlords, if you are looking to hire a management company that has your best interest at heart, don't hire Real-Time Leasing. Customer service is definitely not their specialty. You would do better to rent your property through the classified and hire a service to conduct the background checks. Final warning, they are great sales people! Unfortunately they do not deliver what they sell.
