I recently started incorporating more Asian style cooking into our lives as a way to create interesting dishes that are lower in fat, higher in vegetables and full of flavor. Another plus is that it doesn't take long to create a great stir fry. This was the first store that I visited and I was impressed by their selection. They have fish and seafood available both fresh and frozen, a nice meat department and a great selection of fresh vegetables and herbs. The one caution I would give is to watch the produce; while most of it is very fresh I wanted to pick up a couple of yellow peppers the other day and I had a hard time finding 2 peppers that weren't molded or severely bruised and decaying. I would not however let that shape my whole opinion of the store. Overall they have a friendly staff who will do their best to assist you and the selection is worth the trip. Oh, one more thing I purchased a roasted duck from their little deli area and I guess I didn't think to ask them not to include the head and beak...I don't particularly enjoy having my food staring back at me, but I do realize it is a common practice in this culture. Either way the duck was great and I will just remember to ask them to leave it out next time :) LOL
