More than 50 kids are waiting for mentors through the organization Kids 'n Kinship.

Living Situation: His single-parent mom is a full-time student and is looking for a supportive mentor relationship for her son; Raquaza's dad is not a part of his life.

Looking For: A male mentor or a couple who can help him explore his interests. He has been waiting two years!

For More Information: Raquaza is one of more than 50 children waiting for a mentor through , a private nonprofit serving Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount in Dakota County for 39 years. If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Jan 12 at the Burnhaven Library in Burnsville. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.
