Savage Gets Set to Welcome South Metro to Dan Patch Days
Thousands of Burnsville, Savage and Shakopee residents flock to the community for the three-day celebration commemorating the life of one of this region's founding fathers and, of course, his horse.
Savage gets set to host thousands of people in Savage Community Park this Friday through Sunday as it presents the 2013 edition of Dan Patch Days.
The gates of the park open at 6:30 p.m. tonight (Friday), with action through about 11 p.m. The celebration restarts at 9 a.m. Saturday with activity in the park and beyond (including the 5K and the golf tournament), and the weekend wrap starts early Sunday at 7:30 a.m. when the annual pancake feed begins.
