officials said today that the jockey who fell off a horse during the seventh race Sunday has suffered a broken collarbone.

Castro was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center for evaluation and officials reported Tuesday that he suffered a "small fracture to his collarbone." They also said he won't be able to race for the next four to six weeks while he recovers.
Sajani was taken back to her stall after the race where she was treated for a laceration but is otherwise okay and just sore, Canterbury Park officials said Monday.
According to the Jockeys' Guild website, Castro is a Puerto Rican-born jockey who lives in Illinois with his wife Stephanie and two daughters. It lists his greatest achievement as winning five races in one day.
