The fifth-ranked Burnsville girls soccer team fell, 3-2, at Rosemount in the South Suburban Conference opener on Thursday night.
It was a tough pill to swallow for the Blaze, who held a brief 2-0 lead late in the first half on goals from Hannah Freden and Natalie Muench.
However, the Irish battled back to tie the score at 2-2 before the break and netted the game-winner midway through the second half.

The loss dropped Burnsville to 4-2 on the year, with the Blaze returning home to face Prior Lake at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
