Back to School: Don't Miss Registration for Recreational Football
It's too late to sign up for Burnsville High's football program, but recreational opportunities abound and you might even make a little money.
Burnsville High's fall athletic programs are already under way. The season started on Aug. 13, but those who missed the boat are in luck. The Burnsville Athletic Club is just beginning its registration process for flag football.

- Cost: There is a $100 base cost.
- Ages included: There are three separate flag football leagues—one for grades five to six, one for grades seven to nine and another for 10 to 12.
- When: The registration deadline is Sept. 15.

The BAC is also offering young people an opportunity to earn some part-time cash. This season, the BAC is hiring youth to become flag football referees on Saturday mornings and Monday nights, from Aug. 25 to Oct. 13. The deadline is Aug. 24.
