The Burnsville girls track and field competed in the Section 3AAA True Team meet on Tuesday and Wednesday in Apple Valley.

The Blaze finished eighth overall at the event with 539 points. Prior Lake won the meet with 967.5 points and earned a trip to next Friday’s state meet in Stillwater.

4x800 relay team (Lisa Nelson, Tony Carlstrom, Danille Donchetz, and Jane Koch) placed 2nd.

Jeannie Taylor 8th in the 300 meter hurdles.
