Second Annual 'Jennie' Run Today
Today, Nicollet Junior High will host "The Jennie," a 5K in honor of late teacher Jennie Sandquist.
The public is invited to strap on their running shoes and hit the road for the the 2012 edition of "The Jennie," a 5k run at . The run honors Jennie Sandquist, a former Nicollet student, teacher, and track coach who died of cancer in 2010.
The Jennie will take place Monday, May 14, at 4 p.m. It begins at the Nicollet Junior High tennis courts. Registration is free and refreshments will be provided.
T-shirts are available to purchase for $15.
