District 191 Offering 'Real World Ready' Career Day for High School Students

The career day coincides with Minnesota Manufacturers Week, which is Oct. 20-26.

District 191 students at Burnsville High School will have the opportunity to participate in career day on Wednesday, Oct. 23. 

The "Real World Ready," Career Day will feature Burnsville businesses in the areas of science, technology, healthcare, engineering and math.

Before a student career fair at 10 a.m. a couple speakers will give presentations: Bill Blazer, senior vice president of public affairs and business development at the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce; and Minnesota Workforce Specialist Stacy Klein Dahlin.

The career fair is presented through a collaboration between District 191, the City of Burnsville, and the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce.
