Deadline Close at Hand for Burnsville's 2013 Hall of Fame

Tuesday is the last possible day for residents to submit nominees for the district's Hall of Fame, which includes former Police Chief Bob Hawkins, at least one Olympian, and the very first BHS homecoming king.

Tuesday—April 30—is the last day to submit nominations for inductees into the 2013 Hall of Fame at Burnsville High School.

The Hall of Fame was first founded in 2006, during the school’s 50th anniversary celebration. The purpose is to recognize individuals connected with BHS who have a record of exceptional achievements in their career, who have made significant contributions to BHS or the community at large. Alumni, former staff, community members and even organizations are eligible.

Nominations can be submitted electronically, via http://bit.ly/12IONYO. Once selected, new members will be inducted into the "Hall" during a ceremony in the Mraz Center on Sept. 12.

Inductees for 2012 included Mike Corcoran, Joshua Daniel Dahl, Kevin Gorg, Bob Hawkins, Paul W. Jensen and Muriel Thompson. A complete list of inductees, with photos and biographical notes, canbe found at www.isd191.org/bhs/HOF.
