Commencement Ceremonies Coming Up for District 191 Seniors

Approximately 830 students in the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District will receive diplomas beginning on June 5. Three ceremonies are planned.

Commencement ceremonies will take place in June in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 with approximately 830 students receiving diplomas at three locations. 

Commencement for 20 students in the BEST Transition program will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, in the Senior Campus Commons at , 200 West Burnsville Parkway.

Burnsville Alternative High School will present diplomas to 100 students during a commencement ceremony at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, in the at Burnsville High School, 600 E. Highway 13. BAHS students also have the option to participate in the BHS commencement ceremony and 25 have chosen to do so.

At approximately 710 seniors will receive diplomas during the commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 8. Depending on the weather, the ceremony will either take place outside in Pates Stadium next to the school or inside the gym at 600 E. Highway 13, Burnsville. A decision will be made by 4 p.m. that day and posted on the district website at www.isd191.org

Student speakers will include Dane Olson and Annie Beckel. Musical performers will be Kelsey White, Alec Scotting and Rachel Ringstad (accompanied by Mason Widmer). 

Teachers who have been selected by graduates to announce their names during the ceremony are Colleen Coleman, Chuck Croatt, Wendy Drugge, Jenn Graff, Kim Harrod, Dave McDevitt, Teresa Meuser, Jeff Nelson, Carla Staffa and Terry Walters.
