Class Acts 'Go BIG' for 2013

The annual variety show, put on by teachers, promises a flash mob, a rapper, and "unique special effects," according to those involved.

This year's Class Acts could be one for the history books.

For one thing, it is the variety show's silver anniversary (25 years). For another, nearly 150 teachers in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 have pledged to go bigger, bolder and better than ever during this year's revue, which will raise scholarship money for graduating seniors.

This year’s show, “Go BIG or GO HOME!” will debut at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 28, March 1. The teaching staff will take to the stage again on March 2, with a matinee at 2:30 p.m. and a final show at 7:30 p.m. All performances will be in the Mraz Center at Burnsville High School's main campus, 600 E. Highway 13.

Tickets are $5 and available 30 minutes before each show. Advance tickets can be purchased by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Kari Deering, 4819 W. 126th St., Savage, MN, 55378.
