Burnsville District Cancels School, Morning Commute Treacherous

Road conditions all over the Twin Cities area are presently labeled "difficult" by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

This morning's commute promises to be challenging after a large snow storm swept into the area last night.

Due to inclement weather, school is cancelled for today, March 5, 2013. This includes Community Education programs and Project Kids. Any updates will be posted to www.isd191.org.

Out on the roads, Dakota County snow plow crews began their first sweep of major thoroughfares like County Road 42 and Cedar Avenue at 2 a.m.
