Monday

• Hunger Games Trivia Contest: Think you know all there is to know about Katniss Everdeen and company? Try your luck at the Burnhaven Library's trivia contest. The contest begins at 1:30 p.m. A second contest is scheduled at the Lakeville library on Tuesday. All participants guaranteed to survive, but only one will win. And may the odds be ever in your favor.

• City Planning Commission: On the evening's agenda are two items that would allow two specific businesses — Quarry Property and Burnsville Leasing — to store materials outdoors on Black Dog and the 800 block of Cliff Road, respectively. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers.

• First Day of Spring Break: Students in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 will be on spring break March 26-30. School will be back in session on Monday, April 2.

Some school buildings will be open, for instance those hosting school-age child care programs or community education classes. The district's Administrative Service Center will be open, as well as the Welcome Center. Those with who wish to register their child or speak to a district representative should call (952) 707-4180.

• Family Movie Night: Families are invited to take in a free movie — "Matilda"— which begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Burnhaven Library.

Tuesday

• Hip-Hop Dance with SteppingStone Theatre: Learn the basics of hip-hop dance. Registration required. Session begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Burnahven Library.

Wednesday

• Burnsville Performing Arts Advisory Commission: Agenda available here. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.

Thursday

• Back by popular demand, Celtic Crossroads returns to the . The show — described as "the most exhilarating and authentic show to come from Ireland in decades"  is a high-energy musical romp through world music, fusing traditional Irish song, bluegrass, gypsy and jazz. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets in the orchestra are $32.50. Balcony seats cost $29.50. 

Friday

• Yellow Ribbon Recognition Program: The program runs from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Lakeville. The church is located at 10658 210th Street West. 

• Drawing Dogs with Abrakadoodle: Kids can come and learn the basics of drawing at the Burnhaven Library. Registration is required. Recommended for ages 10 to 15. The class starts at 2:00 p.m.

• Breakdancing at The Garage with New Heist Crew: Teens and tweens are invited to a breakdancing show and workshop at the Garage, Burnsville's city-owned teen center and music venue. Breakdancing begins at 7:00 p.m.
