Other facts

In St. Paul, I focused on health and human services issues to help people with mental illness, chemical dependency, and homelessness; worked on commerce issues and Judicial and family law reform. I will use my mediation skills to help resolve legislative conflicts. I will advocate for fiscal accountability, by holding the line on taxes and prioritizing spending. Tax increases hurt our economy and drive jobs out of Minnesota. I will work to improve our economy and Minnesota’s business climate. To help the economy, I will support less government, fewer government regulations, and permit reform. I am pleased with the progress we made in the last two years with the state budget, but there is more work to be done. I will continue to use common sense leadership to make a difference.
