Special Election

The Burnsville City Council has voted to hold a special City election to fill the vacancy created by the passing of Councilmember Charlie Crichton.

The special election will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011. The winner of the election will serve the remainder of Crichton’s four- year term, which will end December 2014.

The City of Burnsville will have polling locations for 17 precincts open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Voters must vote at the polling place in which their current residence is located. The City has posted both the map and precinct finder online at www.burnsville.org/elections.
