Council Candidate: Donna Alberts

Council Candidate Donna Alberts, age 63, spent 20 years in the insurance industry. She has lived in Burnsville for 36 years.

When asked why she is running, Alberts wrote: "Friends and neighbors encouraged me to run as I have been an active community volunteer."

Alberts said that Burnsville is strong in that "the city is well established and stable." However, when asked what she would do if elected, she wrote "We need to look for opportunities to attract new business, add public transportation options, update infrastructure and engage citizens."
