Burnsville is about to get a look into the future.

A nonprofit's $15,200 grant will allow Burnsville to conduct a survey on the habits of the city's youth, KSTP is reporting.

Youthprise, a Minnesota nonprofit that looks to stretch learning beyond the classroom, funded the grant to gain insight into programming trends, demographics, and current and potential programs for Burnsville's youth.

Burnsville plans to hire a consultant to help conduct the survey, according to KSTP. The city is accepting consultants' applications through March 22.
