Toboggan Accident Reported at Buck Hill

Two were injured in an Saturday sledding accident at Buck Hill. Responders from the Burnsville Fire Department were called to the scene during the wee hours — at approximately 4:14 a.m. — after two toboggan riders hit an object on the way down a slope at the ski area. Fire Chief BJ Jungmann had few details about the incident. He declined to name the victims, citing medical privacy law.

Their condition is not known, though Jungmann did say they were transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center's trauma unit.

Officials at Buck Hill could not be reached for comment.
