Staples Truck Careens Into Burnsville Home
No injuries were reported, though both house and truck sustained significant damage. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
Local police are investigating a bizarre automobile accident that occurred on Thursday, in which a large truck veered off road and struck a Burnsville home.
KSTP reports that the crash occurred in the 13700-block of Summit Lane around 11:30 a.m. The driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, which careened through the side of a garage and then down a steep embankment.
The driver of the truck may have been suffering from a medical issue at the time of the crash. No one was hurt, though both the vehicle —a carrier for Staples — and the home were damaged.
